Center Weighted: The rim weight of a center weighted disc is approximately 50?60% of the total weight of the disc and is suitable for beginner throwers.
Low Spin: The rim weight of a low spin discus is approximately 60?75% of the total weight of the discus and is suitable for more experienced throwers.
High Spin: The rim weight of a high spin discus is approximately 75-85% of the total weight of the discus and is suitable for high level throwers.
Dimensions: The diameter of the discus varies between 18 and 22 cm depending on its weight. The cross section of the edge is 6 mm diameter.
Finishing: The sides of the discus are identical and free from any sharp edges. The finishing of the discus has been kept smooth in order to help the athletes to grip it properly.

What is Discus Throw?
The discus throw, also known as discus throw, is a track and field sports event in which an athlete throws different types of heavy discus as far as he/she can. The highest distance thrower will be the winner.
There are varying weights for international competitions. Men through age 49 will throw a 2-kilogram discus; 1.5 kilograms for 50-59-year old men? 1 kilogram for 60 and beyond. For women through age 74, the discus throw is around 1 kilogram, for women 75 years old; the discus is around 0.75 kilograms.
The discus is usually made of plastic, wood, fiberglass, and carbon fiber. For the athletes to make a throw, they will start in a circle of 2.5 meters in diameter. Then the athlete will spin counter clockwise around one and a half times through the circle, then the athlete can release his/her throw.
The discus must land around the 34.92-degree sector. The six key movements of discus throw are: wind up, move in rhythm, balance, right leg engine, orbit, and delivery.
